Grip, Comfort And Color That Lasts

What Goes Wrong
The Problems We Fix
Slick with wet feet
The number one pool deck complaint. The chip broadcast leaves texture, and pool decks get a heavier grip additive on top.
Too hot to stand on
Dark bare concrete stores heat. Lighter blends reflect it and stay comfortable underfoot on the hottest afternoons.
Mildew in the shade
The damp, shaded strip behind the ladder or under the awning grows black mildew. A sealed surface has nowhere for it to grow.
Chalking and fading
Pool chemicals and full sun chalk bare concrete and yellow epoxy. Polyaspartic holds its color.
Cracks around the coping
The deck moves relative to the pool shell. Cracks are repaired and the coating flexes over the joint instead of splitting along it.
Chemical splash
Chlorine and acid wash etch bare concrete. A non-porous coating wipes clean.
Perfect For
Where This Gets Used

- Hot-tub surrounds
- Community pools and clubhouses
- Poolside patios and transitions
- Splash pads and wading areas

Grind, repair, basecoat, flake, polyaspartic topcoat. Most residential installs take one day on site.
Colors & Finishes
Blends That Suit It

Newport Fog
Pale dove grey with white and a hint of cool blue. Opens up a dark basement or a north-facing garage.

Silver Falls
Bright silver-grey with white and platinum. Throws the most light back into a room of any blend we carry.

Siuslaw Sand
Warm sand base with cream, tan and soft brown. The one most people choose for front walks and entries.

Pool Deck Coating Questions
How slip-resistant is it, really?
More than bare concrete and far more than sealed or painted concrete. Pool decks get the chip texture plus an additional grip additive in the topcoat. Tell us if there is a diving board or a slide landing and we will texture that zone heavier.
Does the deck have to be replaced first?
No. If the slab is sound it is ground, repaired and coated in place. Replacement is only for slabs that have failed structurally, which is rare.
How long is the pool out of use?
Install is usually one day on site. Foot traffic within 24 hours; keep furniture off for 48 to 72 hours.
Will pool chemicals damage it?
No. The polyaspartic topcoat is chemically resistant to chlorine, salt systems and the occasional acid wash. Splashes wipe up.
Which colors stay coolest?
The lighter blends: Newport Fog, Silver Falls, Siuslaw Sand. Darker blends look sharp but store more heat.
Can you coat the steps into the pool?
Not below the waterline. We coat everything up to the coping; the pool shell itself is a different trade.
