Warm Tones That Sit Right With The House

Bare outdoor concrete cracks, fades and stains, and in a wet climate it grows a film of moss and algae that is genuinely dangerous underfoot from November to April. A coated surface is seamless and non-porous: nothing to root into, nothing to soak in, and grip built into the texture.

What Goes Wrong

The Problems We Fix

Slick when wet

Moss, algae and plain wet concrete. The chip broadcast leaves texture in the surface, and exterior walks get extra grip on top of it.

Moss that comes back every spring

Pressure washing removes it for a season. A sealed surface removes the pores it grows in.

Cracked and settled steps

Steps and landings on older homes have moved. Cracks are cut out and filled; edges are rebuilt; then the coating goes over sound concrete.

Fading and staining

Planters, the grill, leaf tannin and the sun all mark bare concrete. A UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat shrugs all of it off.

The 'it just looks tired' problem

Grey, patched, mismatched concrete drags the front of the house down. A warm-toned flake finish is the single most-noticed upgrade we do.

It is grippy, not sharp. Think fine sandpaper rather than gravel. For patios where people go barefoot we can dial the texture down; for a front walk that ices up we dial it up.

Stamped concrete, yes: it is still a slab and gets ground and coated like any other. Pavers, no; they move individually and there is nothing continuous to bond to.

No. The polyaspartic topcoat is UV stable. The warm sand and brown blends hold their color through a full summer of direct sun.

Install is usually one day on site. Foot traffic within 24 hours. Keep furniture off for 48 to 72 hours so nothing prints into the fresh surface.

Yes, and we recommend it. One grind, one blend, one seamless run from the driveway to the door.

Lighter blends stay noticeably cooler underfoot than bare grey concrete. If the patio faces south, pick from the lighter end of the range.
